A live project is a short, semester-based internship — typically 7–10 days — run by the DSPSR Placement Cell so students can work on real, ongoing industry assignments alongside their studies. Students gain hands-on practical experience with well-defined deadlines, build valuable industry networks and mentor connections, and sharpen the communication, logical, analytical and stakeholder-management skills that employers look for — making it the fastest way to turn classroom learning into corporate-ready experience.
Companies like Amazon India, Peacock Solar and Big Bazaar regularly provide such live projects to our students.74 interns across three programmes, matched to work tracks by skillset.
Every intern is placed on one track and mentored by a Domain Expert who monitors daily progress.
Learn core methodologies of Learning Management System development — content structuring, user roles and platform architecture.
Hands-on CRM configuration — pipelines, contact management, and workflow automation used by real sales teams.
Manage sprint cycles, task boards and cross-functional team collaboration using real project-tracking tools.
Design test cases, execute manual and automated tests, and track defects from discovery through to closure.
Plan and execute brand campaigns, schedule content calendars, and monitor engagement analytics.
Conduct quality assurance checks and operational reviews to maintain consistent standards of delivery.
Perform operational audits, verify compliance against defined standards, and prepare audit documentation.
From day one on 22nd June 2026 through to completion, notified in line with GGSIPU’s academic calendar.
All 74 interns commence together across the seven tracks, with a minimum duration of 8 weeks from this date.
Each intern is paired with a Mentor or Domain Expert who monitors daily progress and the completion of assigned activities.
Interns work through track-specific activities — sprint tasks, test cases, campaign calendars or audit checklists — tracked against daily targets.
The internship continues until the commencement of end-term examinations or the start of the new academic session, whichever applies, as notified by GGSIPU.
No intern works unsupervised — every track is backed by a named expert.
Mentors track each intern’s activity completion daily, so gaps are caught early rather than at a final review.
Mentors are practitioners in the track’s actual domain — testing, CRM, audit — not generic overseers.
Every assigned activity is logged and checked off, giving both intern and institution a clear record of what was delivered.
