Welcome to the DSPSR family, (Delhi School of Professional Studies and Research) which is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Dwarka, New Delhi which was established in 1998 by an Act of Govt. of Delhi, and started admitting and teaching students at its own Schools of Learning Disciplines, (such as, School of Management to take the example of just one discipline) from the academic year 1999-2000. The same academic year, Delhi School of Professional Studies and Research (D.S.P.S.R) was also established by the Society for Human Transformation & Research (S.H.T.R.).
DSPSR is managed by a group of core academicians, headed by our magnificent Chairman, Professor B. P. Singh, Formerly, Head and Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Business, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. During his tenure as Head & Dean of the Faculty, he launched two Professional Management Programmes in the name of Master of Internaional Business (MIB), and Master of Human Resource & Organisational Development (MHROD) which are now named as MBA (IB), and MBA (HR) at Faculty of Commerce and Business, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi.
The Institution DSPSR is an “A” Grade accredited Institution not only from National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), but also by Joint Assessment Committee (JAC) of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), and Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Govt. of NCT, Delhi.
As the Director of the Institution, D.S.P.S.R. I’m proud to inform you that several thousands of our students graduated from DSPSR till now and are well-placed and settled in their personal and professional lives.
In our bid to work on students’ mindfulness, the college has a practice of starting the day with meditation. Our focus remains on sharpening the professional skills of the students, under the guidance of experts from industry alongwith enhancement of knowledge through Add-on Courses, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities by identifying their interests and skills.
In our Institution, the students are encouraged to achieve academic excellence through scholarships on merit cum means basis. All the activities are student-driven at DSPSR, and there are various clubs like NSS Club, Rotaract Club, Placement Cell, Cultural Committee, Sports Committee, Entrepreneurship Cell, Students Council, and others which are managed professionally by students, under the watchful eyes of our experienced faculty members.
Also, together we celebrate the Indian festivals and important National Days to inculcate the feeling of unity among our students.
Our passionate faculty members, who not only keep themselves abreast with the current developments in the academic field, but also contribute to the explosion of the body of knowledge in their field of expertise. Our faculty members make substantial contribution to the academia through quality teaching, Add-on Courses on Skill Development, Annual Refresher Programme in Teaching (ARPIT) examinations, Publications, Seminars, Conferences, Webinars etc.
Each year, we organize two International Conferences where academicians, researchers, and experts from industry and academia belonging to different parts of the globe share their knowledge, experience, and researches which are talked over and discussed on the important aspects of education, economy, and other topical themes.
DSPSR provides a lively environment to learn, work, and explore, thanks to talented teaching faculty who work in a team with a mission to change the future life of our students.
Our outstanding teaching fraternity, the sought after academic programmes, namely BBA and B. Com. (Hons.), the personalized attention provided by the faculty members, the opulence of on-campus activities, and the state of the art computer labs, library, class rooms, etc. are the important hallmarks of our Institution. The new students quickly recognize and appreciate the welcoming culture and humane approach, which are the hall-marks of our campus.
